Rodan

K9 RODAN is a 9-year-old Belgian Malinois who honorably retired in May 2025 after nearly seven years of distinguished service with the U.S. Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC). Entering on duty in December 2018, he was certified as a Patrol and Track & Trail canine. Throughout his career, he operated along both the southwest and northern U.S. borders, participating in numerous high-risk missions in rural and urban environments. Known for his tenacity and courage, K9 RODAN played a critical role in the apprehension and tracking of dangerous individuals attempting to evade arrest. His service and dedication greatly enhanced officer safety and mission success.
