Opel

Opel is a retired Military Working Dog (MWD) who served in the U.S. Navy for eight years as a dual-purpose Patrol/Explosive Detection Dog. Opel has accomplished missions across America, including Baltimore, New York City, Wilmington, DE, and Mar a Lago, FL. Opel deployed to Syria in 2018 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. MWD Opel has assisted the United States Secret Service and NCIS in numerous protection missions for the President, Vice President, foreign ambassadors, and other heads of state. Opel is an intelligent, loyal, driven, good boy who excels at every task he is given. Opel is extremely Kong-motivated and is probably chewing on it right now. Opel likes bananas, yogurt, playing fetch, going on walks, and generally acting as his prior handler/current owner’s shadow. He loves retired life and his new family, and fits well with the other dogs in his new home.
