Jude

Jude has worked in Herndon during his career along side myself on patrol. Jude and I went through CIA K9 Training school and Certified with CIA, ATF and USPCA. Jude and I continued to train with CIA for approximately 10 years and he is trained to be food reward. Jude has been used to search unattended packages, building searches such as school bomb threats, car searches for explosives and weapons and outdoor searches for bullet casings, explosives and weapons. He was able to locate a hand gun during a search thrown by a suspect in to heavy brush along side W&OD Trail in Herndon. He has done sweeps and searches for surrounding counties. Including Herndon Festival, Fairfax Fair, Loudoun fair. Jude and I have attended numerous community events and career days due to him being very friendly with children. He has traveled to Raleigh, NC to compete in USPCA National Detector Field Trials. He placed first on package searches and fourth place overall. Jude enjoys going boating and loves to swim in the Potomac river. Many times he has brough us back dead fish floating in the river. He likes to chase squirrels, birds and rabbits. He also enjoys going on hikes through the woods.
