Alfie

Alfie has been assigned to the Portland Police Department in Portland Maine where he worked as an Explosive Detection Canine for four years. While there he spent the majority of his working career at the Portland International Jetport safeguarding passengers through searches and deterrent activity. He also worked in other mass transit areas such as the train/bus transit options of the Portland Transportation Center, and the vessel transit option of Casco Bay Lines. Additionally, he was responsible for responding to various explosive threats within the area, including threats to schools and government buildings. Additionally, he had the fortunate opportunity to participate in deterrent activities at the 2023 Super Bowl. When not at work Alfie enjoys a good cuddle. Don’t let his mellow side fool you though, he has plenty of energy to still spare, as he ventures out into the woods for a good romp.
