Iso

Iso was born in Czechoslovakia in June of 2015, and later imported to Alabama Canine in July of 2016. Iso was trained as a single purpose canine in ignitable liquid detection for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) Counter-Terrorism Division, Arson and Explosion Investigation Unit. Iso was originally paired with Agent Wright, the rehandled to Agent Garrison, and lastly rehandled to Agent Peden. Iso was deployed over 280 times to assist with the investigation of fire scenes. Iso was deployed throughout the entire state of South Carolina. Iso also participated in numerous community events including school demonstrations, youth program demonstrations, and local agency in-service trainings. Iso retired in September of 2025 and currently resides with his last handler, Agent Peden. Iso has grown quite accustomed to the retired life and enjoys leisurely car rides and playing with his Kong. Iso still travels to the SLED Piedmont Field Office on occasion and visits with Agents there.
