K9 Bak started training with the Air Force in San Antonio Texas, but eventually ended up within the Department of Homeland Security (FPS) assigned to several handlers before landing in Denver, Colorado in the fall of 2022. K9 Bak has traveled all over the mountain west, doing work in Oregon, Wyoming, Utah, South Dakota, Montana, and of course Colorado. He even traveled to Chicago, IL to work the Democratic National Convention. He has even traveled up through Canada all the way to the Arctic Ocean (where he proceeded to fall in, he loves water), this trip was post retirement.
