Gama

Gama was assigned to Tucson Sector Special Operations, BORSTAR unit. Gama was certified in SAR, Tracking/Trailing and Human Remains Detection. Gama worked to locate people in distress, people attempting to evade, people carrying narcotics and deceased subjects in remote desert areas as a primary assignment. Gama also worked with other law enforcement agencies in missing persons, homicide and drowning victim cases to help locate people and evidence. As part of the BORSTAR unit Gama was sent to hurricane Helene to aid in the search for missing residents in North Carolina and Tennessee. Gama has always been a high drive, go until you drop, dog. Always loyal and dependable to her handler and team. Gama currently is loving retirement, hanging out as boss dog of the mini ranch and daily session of fetch with her Chuck-it. Gama has claimed her spot on the bed and couch!
