Milo

Milo served 10 years in the United States Secret Service Personnel Screening Canine Open Area unit. He was among the first dogs trained by the Service to find suicide bombers in the wake of the Boston bombing. Milo has traveled to many cities all over the country working protective details. He has participated in NSSE events such as multiple inaugurations, the visit of the Pope in 2015, and countless others. His primary responsibility for the majority of his career was the protection of the White House and all its visitors. In Milo’s downtime, he splits his day between the kitchen (at Mom’s feet), and his bed in the family room. Despite having the easy life in retirement, Milo still tries to be the first one out the door whenever his handler leaves for work.
